We had video on RNO-SFO a week ago (but not in the other direction). Very short flight, long enough for one episode of The Middle. Our purser was outstanding and I would not be surprised if it was his personal initiative to turn on the programming.

No video on DEN-MCI last month, which was a bit of a letdown since I really like the particular shows that would have been on tap.

But for short West Coast flights, I can live without the gazillion TripAdvisor and Prevacid ads and whatever they cram in between, especially if Channel 9 is on.
