Actually JQ almost embraces interlining (for LCC standards this is). They have 12 agreements at the moment (up from 9 agreements last year). Bruce Buchanan stated that they want to do a lot more of those agreements as QF gets a significant (he said double digit million) revenue from JQ domestic flights booked in connection with other airlines flight flights into Australia.
Yes, I don't mean interlining in the sense of selling combined itineraries etc - I mean transferring bags between their own flights, and between their flights and other airlines, including QF.
