I did this flight back in Nov. towards the end of my EXP campaign.

There is a separate First Class check in - however, I personally had a tough time seeing the signs for it. Once I saw the sign, (it was very small near main cabin checkin - where there were somewhere around 80 people in line at least), the lady there was very friendly and waved me right over. I also recall there was an agent guarding the First Class line as if her life depended on it, who asked me if I was PLT, EXP or in First. I was flying Coach and showed her my PLT card (she then relaxed and said I was fine). It did not take more than like 5 minutes to check in at the counter.

However, the x-ray stuff is a pain - you get to do it twice.
