You got that right. I have been #1 out of 9 at 8 hours prior to departure with 6 seats available and still didn't get it. As a plat, with 40 segments ytd, I have been upgraded on only 6 segments. Last year, as Gold, I had a much better batting average. Normally, I am #9 out of 24 at check-in, so I don't get excited, but this has been the highest I have been out of my originating airport. Most people around me are diamonds and are million milers.
Update: 2 out of 10, so a few more checked in and I am holding steady. Still 7 seats showing available in FC. Sorry, I am pumped since this will be my first upgrade out of my originating city.
