It's more difficult to do it for Feb/Mar because CX has changed its schedule. The last flight to TPE now leaves too early for you to connect from AA's transpac flights.
CX451 leaves at ~3:45pm but the first AA flight into NRT doesn't get there until 4pm. So to get to TPE would require an overnight either at NRT or HKG.
But in April, AA will change its timeslot to arrive in NRT at ~2pm.
