I don't think HAL created this type of cabin as IIRC Celebrity has had their Concierge Class cabins for a few years that are really exactly the same as regular balcony cabins but with a few extra perks. Sometimes the buy up is a few bucks and then worth it but not always.

I might venture over to Cruise Critic.
