interesting, so not only is service mixed here (
xracer negative,
vuittonsofstyle positive - dont recall what they said about food)
but food as well (
ether negative,
Earthman positive)
Tanyam99, im sorry if my post came across in a way i did not intend. i was recapping a couple things, but was mainly curious how you thought the food compared to other caribbean properties/destinations, and if you tried casa del lago. OTOH even though
ether said it was good, it sounds like your standards are higher in this particular context.

The only two places I would ever go to in the Caribbean are Amanyara in Turks & Caicos and Malliouhana on Anguilla.

seems la samanna is considered to have gone downhill here, from a better reputation, but interestingly i know someone who would fit in on this forum that found food there better than amanyara a few years ago.
