There is a very active Holland America cruise forum on Cruise Critic. You will easily get your answer there - a very well-travelled HAL crowd.

I am a HAL fan as one of the best value for the dollar cruise line. However, m own cabin demands don't go beyond a standard HAL balcony room (the best in the business IMHO) for dollar value because, the room itself is not my motivation for travel.

(Having just spent 42 days in a 135 sq ft porthole cabin, but with a great itinerary.)
