I am projected to be at 49,740 miles for the year. I am bummed that I had some miles I didn't log earlier this year from some BOG-JFK flights which Delta wouldn't accrue for me. I need a mile run by Dec. 31st in CO. It is too close to pass up. I found some fares for a BOG-BAQ return flight under a "promotional" pricing program for $112. As long as I am accruing miles at the promo rate, I will probably book a trip.

Adam, Do you recall, how long did it take between your oro qualification before you saw the upgrade certificates etc?

I am crossing my fingers that the merger makes for some nice perks. I did find one thing that the ex. plat will add--lounge access in JFK. It sounds good to me.
