Here's the update my luggage. The two bags with the priority bag tags were in the first five at the carousel. The remaining two bags arrived 14 minutes later (I timed them).

-- begin rant --Why would Delta allow my wife to board with me but not allow her luggage to be expedited with mine? My other experiences being a DM have been relatively good, but my experiences yesterday with the medallion counter agent , the performance lead, the two calls to the clueless DM line (I thought they had been trained -- can't they just route the calls to Chisholm and call it good?) and finally waiting at the luggage carousel has really left me questioning why I just don't status match now while I can still earn status this year on another carrier. -- end rant --
