Korean Air generally recruits only female (young, attractive) flight attendants. Any of the relatively few male KE flight attendants were most likely transferred from other jobs within the company, not recruited from the general public. Not sure about Asiana but I can't recall seeing any male FA's. I would say Asian airlines in general are not a good place to focus if you seek to be a male FA. For instance EVA (Taiwan) will not hire male FA's period. This is the policy of several Asian Airlines and other only hire token male FA's.

(for all its blatant inequities I have to admit I kinda like the Asian way, even if I know it is wrong )
