I've never come across this before...2288 on 4/18 SFO-DTW. The flight isn't THAT full yet (see expert flyer data below). Normally I can at least select a middle seat, preferred or not. I've flown on flights with less tickets available than this and still been able to get a seat assigned when purchasing only a few days before the flight. This was booked earlier this week (nearly 2 full weeks ou)
