On my last stay I also received a deluxe king on check-in but the room was so hot they moved us to an executive king so that we could have more open windows & facing a quieter street. The host told us that deluxe king is the standard upgrade for diamonds. The executive king was a corner unit and had more windows but only 1 opened, the second one was broken. It was still too hot & noisy but the room was much nicer and roomier than the deluxe king.
