It's a big cabin, and 6 BF seats is not exactly unheard of (JAX-IAH may actually be more difficult, believe it or not -- 6 seats on a 50-seater RJ is more than 10% of the plane).
CO usually starts releasing about 9 months, and then adjusts after that.
Are you by any chance 1K? If so, you may want to secure something in F and keep tweaking it as you see space open up (free changes/redeposits for 1Ks).
