The original itinerary was 3-way trip. DL cancelled the outbound flight prompting a change to 2-way (had to scub the last leg due to lack of time left in the week). Then they lost my outbound seat in a change, so the option of standing by at 5AM a day late for the trip prompted me to cancel the whole ticket. Although it took several changes (another interesting story for dodging the change fees and rate hikes), the cancellation was still within Risk Free time. The DL hangup is over two separate tickets.
