Shareholder, as I have now finally booked my trip from YYZ to YYC, of course with a side trip to CUN on the way back, I have read your trip report with great interest. I embark on my first epic MHD next week and will certainly file trip reports. I only have one night in Cancun, but it will give me a chance to check out the place for my next MHD in June.

(Epic because my journey will actually start here in Kazakhstan and take me to Moscow and London first, then onwards.)

I do have one question...how can one prepare a trip report offline and download it to FT?

lonman - as for booking an MHD, I had help from BlondeBomber. Using his suggestions I mapped out the trip on ITN, came up with the fares, then phoned AC directly. Because of my geographic location and the inability to pick up tickets conveniently, I was informed that when I arrive in LHR next week I can simply go to the ticket office, dictate my "locator numbers" and pay for the tickets.

It may seem like alot of work for a short two-day trip to YYC and YEG, but for $1,500 for a J fare, a trip to CUN, and the extra AC miles, you can't go wrong.
