Actually, it is on this page: http://www.johnvarvatos.com/leather_goods/pl/c/15.html middle bag on the right (stretch duffel weekend) in brown. For some reason, if you click on the bag the website then only shows you the black version, which isn't as nice looking as the brown. Anyway, I like it.
What counts is that you like it!

It's certainly a nice bag but you know us critical types here. More of the classical denomination and always with price/value in mind.

Did you look at the Mulholland Brothers Longhorn? Or any of the Tusting or SAB bags? The Tusting might be right down your alley. They have some very nice soft and fashionable bags. Cost is around half of JV and quality is clearly superior. Same goes for Mulholland. SAB will be as expensive but MUCH superior. So if you have any quality for price concerns as your initial post indicates, I would advise against the JV and suggest one of the above instead.
