Yes, same results when I did the search.
My only calls have come on SAN-LAX-DFW-FLL itineraries, offering the SAN-DFW-FLL instead.I wonder if AA's thinking is that people chose the connecting itins because the direct flights were a lot more expensive at the time of booking.
