We usually rent with Hertz Gold/Avis/Enterprise, where the spouse can drive the car without signing the contract. But for an upcoming trip to DTW, we have an exceptionally good rate with Alamo, additional driver included. The problem is that only one of us will be able to pick up the car, the other one will arrive a few days later. Do we need to go back to Alamo and add the second driver, or is it possible that Alamo can add spouse2 from the beginning if spouse1 brings both DLs...?
