WN promos are A-L-W-A-Y-S as you describe... they only apply to those fligths purchased after registration. It was no surprise to most people on here. I'm sorry it was to you, but calling them dishonest is a bit off the mark IMO, especially when they clarified the wording this time.
I agree that it was much better worded this time and I have no complaint with it. But the March 25 one kept saying every/any flight in the header and body of email, accompanied by exclamation points and boldface type, but stuck part about purchasing during the promo period in the fine print. To me, that ain't kosher, no matter the previous pattern.
