I am using my upgrade certificates normally for my regular trips to Europe, and every second trip I purchase C class regular fare tickets.
I have a few questions about AV. I am new to the airline. I flying them about 7 times this year JFK-BOG. So, my questions refer to the Int'l flights.
Do you need to purchase a certain class for the upgrades on these tickets?
Do you earn 1 mile per mile flown even on Econo class--or is it .5 or some fraction?
They have Econo, Flexi, Super Flexi, and Biz. What are these in class codes?
Are they more likely to give me a seat in row 7 on the A330 with oro or platinum status? Any insight on the upgrade process. I usually fly down on AV285 and come back on AV20.
