Sometimes when I wasn't upgraded at T minus 24 hours, I will get upgraded on the day of flight. That's why I don't fully complete OLCI at the 24-hour mark if the upgrade doesn't clear - I'll try again the following morning. Somethimes the magic upgrade link appears.
I think it may have checked me in on the return even though it only gave me todays boading pass. I try doing OLCI and its says i'm already checked in. i might be out of luck unless I want to spend another 12.5K to change to F. I already did that for todays flight.
