I am a rookie flyer but I have about 170,000 miles with United that I would like to use to fly to China (ideally in business class) from NYC. Does anyone know if I can get a business class ticket for 170,000 miles? In the alternative, is it possible to buy an economy ticket and use miles to upgrade to business class? Any idea how many miles it would take to do that? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
