Glad to see people like the EI product. Historically, 'premier' could be said to be positioned between F and J. In the 1990s it took a real dive, but with the new cabins things seem better. Looking forward to a J trip in two weeks time (DUB-ORD).

Comparing EI Business to UA Business is not easy. Food, service is better on EI. Seating is probably better on UA. My experience is that I always prefer EI heading from Europe whereas I am indifferent between EI/AA and US heading east on a night flight.
