In a couple of weeks doing a modified run to LHR. Out Jan 24th - back on Jan 29th.
DFW-BOS-MIA-JFK-LHR-MIA-DFW kind of trip.

Since the back is wide open - I think I want to sit in coach and save the miles I would have to spend for an upgrade.

What are the best coach seats on the AB - domestic?

And since I am Plat and that will block a seat next to me --
What if I take the "D" seat - one over from the aisle. Will it block the aisle seat? Since on the other side is the middle of the 5 seat row, my guess is that is the last one booked.
So I have three seats.
Make sense?
Other ideas?
