On arrival, head for the H gates: you will have to clear security.
No one asks you for your onward BP at security for the H gates. Makes sense, as some may be connecting to OAL and may not have a BP for the onward flight. Sometimes the customs spotters ask you what you are up to, but 'I'm heading to the SEN lounge for a shower' is good enough.
In the lounge just show your BP and the SEN card. Never had any issues, even after the rule changes.
Thanks a lot for that valuable tip, Oliver! One more quick question: so the other passenger with her Schengen connecting flight will def. have to go through immigration again after visiting the SEN lounge, but will she also have to do a second security screening in muc to access the schengen gates, or will the screening at the H gates suffice?
I remember that whether or not re-screening is required to go between schengen and non-schengen has changed in muc (eliminating a screening that used to be necessary in one direction), but I forget which direction it was.
Thanks.
