I will have to ask my accountant if it is deductible. We do itemize (don't understand all the other people who on the goldpoints thread who say that they don't) but even with the auction at $700 right now it is a drop in the bucket. It certainly wasn't my motivation for running the auction.

I must say, I get the feeling (from this and other threads I have observed) that there is a contingent of FT'ers who have a hard time understanding why someone would do ANYTHING if it wasn't directly in their financial/FF mileage accumulating interest to do so. The way I see it is that someone else's cynicism is their problem, not mine. This last comment is not specifically directed at you Droneklax as you ask what I suppose is a legitimate question.
