Yea, they do have some miscues here and there, I've experienced a few over the years too.
A research representative called me yesterday and asked about what happen. She said, "Maybe your Dad will just need to transfer the miles to your account." I responded, "That's not going to work since that will cost me money." Then she said, "Well let's not make assumptions and just see what happens." Did she not just make an assumption about the possibility of needing my Dad to transfer his points? The lady had a very bad attitude.
Got another call today telling me she has to talk to Continental, and it may take a week to respond. Luckily, I don't need to use the points or I'd press the issue harder. I should have just said, "You need to credit my account with the points, and Chase can worry about getting their points back from the other account."
