I haven't personally used that company, but be very cautious, there is a lot of fraud on craigslist and particularly in NYC (know this from being in the business)

Try Homeaway, VRBO or some other vacation rental portal site. Homeaway has a "guarantee" that if the rental doesn't exist they refund your cost.

Or go through a managed rental service that accepts credit cards.
