there is no word in italian for "parking space"
to get a feeling for rental rates, go to autoeurope.com and pull down a bunch of rates. the rates do not get more than 10% lower.
find a car that is the same in usa(if from usa) to compare "midsize to midsize" the italian idea of a midsize is one up from a "smart" car.
