I took Hainan back in Aug 2008 during the Olympics FOC-PEK in first. For China domestic they were a pretty good carrier. Lounge access, seats in the 737 with footrests (in first) and a fairly elaborate first class meal. No alcohol. They brought me a beer from back in coach.
