The tragedy is that this time round two brave Pakistanis were martyred in the operation. The Pakistani people however are extremely generous and caring, and you can bet the families of these two gentlemen will be taken care of, even though the Americans will not give two hoots for those who were attempting to protect them.

Sometimes the attitude and actions of those working inside certain buildings inspire those that oppose oppression and occupation to do certain things. It is wise to remember that the US consulate in PEW is NOT a diplomatic mission in any sense of the word. It is a CIA station - and has been since the late 1950's. Frankly, if one is honest, the entire situation vis a vis the proliferation of arms and extremism in Afghanistan and Pakistan is a result of the actions of the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ working inside this fortress.

Word on the street is that the US consulate is about to move to the old Pearl Continental Hotel - a larger, higher profile building.

Again, these things sometimes happen, but those who murdered two innocent Pakistanis need to be brought to account.
