if work travel gets you status, then i say, " you can't beat free" the mi's etc are a perq. i, think the status is worth mi runs for my wife & me - we pay our way. there is no comparison between the 2 categories. one would be stupid to turn down the ff rewards wnen traveling on the company, no matter what the value.
