The U.S. Consulate in Peshawar was attacked with car bombs and grenades. Six people, including four attackers were killed when armed militants in two vehicles tried to storm into the Consulate.

This, after claims of victory after a series of offensives by Pakistani military. Are we ever going to win this?
It seems that Pakistani military, de facto the Govt in spite of the civilian Govt, does just enough to be able to counter criticism that its not doing enough, i.e. pretend that it's doing something.
It's a difficult problem when people you are fighting are your assets and your friends also. Our Govt, as well as the Pakistani Govt faaces the same dilemma.How do you fight militants who are your friends also. How do you control the monster you created.
