Friends,

Since NW became Delta it seems I can never get an aisle seat to Tokyo or Shanghai from Detroit. I used to be able to buy my tickets 2 or 3 weeks ahead of time and get a bulkhead or exit, or at least an aisle. No I can't get anything but a crappy middle seat. I am a Plat Sky Mile member flying for work 6-8 times a year.

Any hints? Do I need to give my business to United? It seems like they always have open aisle seats.
