GH Tampa in a phone call a couple weeks ago confirmed that the club is closed on weekends. Am staying there next weekend, will edit this post with details and confirmation upon return.

------------- data added 4/14/10 -----------------

Club is closed all day Saturday and Sunday, also closed Monday morning; attempted to enter Monday AM but despite key working in door was told they did not serve breakfast on Mondays, starting service at lunchtime.

At check-in, front desk clerk Mike confirmed club closed all weekend. Mentioned bkfst and the 2500 points. Was told we should charge breakfast to room and it would be credited at checkout. I had two rooms booked in my name, each with two adults, and asked for clarification regarding how much breakfast would be written off at checkout. The check-in clerk stated that since the Diamond benefit is good for up to four people, they would write off charges for all four, even though I was the only GP member in the party and we were in two separate rooms (although both rooms were in my name and I was paying for both).

Upon check-out, the answer was different. Clerk Patricia handed me a bill with no adjustments. I pointed out the club closure and described the conversation at check-in. She was willing to write off 50% of the breakfast bill, but not the entire amount for all four. Reiteration of the check-in clerk's statement did not change her stance, and that is my recollection of the T&Cs, so did not push that item further. However, she then also had to be prodded to take off the charge for internet access.

Despite reconfirmation of 1W, G2 and club closure points with Patricia at check-out, G2 did not post although others did. A call to GP fixed that instantly.
