By abusing the scheme and lets face it that is what you and many others have done by setting up multiple accounts and flaunting bulk buy policies, has ruined it for everyone else. This week being a case in example where the greed of a few has resulted in tescos increasing the prices and removing points from cd's etc, to stop them accumulating ridiculous amounts of clubcard points.
The unwritten rule of clubcard points collecting is not to raise your head above the parapit. In getting caught out at a tescos in store, continually ringing them up you are asking to be gunned down. I suspect someone at tescos/airmiles has picked up on this. You got lucky with your BA conversion.
This kind of 'Deal Abuse' isn't new - it's been going on since Clubcard started.
Beef in Gravy (before my time)
HDMI leads, TV brackets and SCARTS [that one got me nearly 100,000 BA Miiles in two days!!]

H&B
The list goes on...
www.paidtoshop.co.uk is virtually dedicated to abusing Clubcard Points offers.
