Good question, but since the miles used were the first earned, or accumulated, I would argue they retain their original date, not the redeposit date. So I don't think you could keep miles alive by churning them in this fashion.
I would tend to agree. On the other hand, considering the amount Aeroplan charges to redeposit the mileage, this could be a reasonable way keeping the miles alive.
