Dear Nutjobs-
You're kidding. You actually, honestly get on airplanes for no other reason than to get miles? No, I'm serious...you guys really do that? Get out of here!!! Serious?
I'm not fooling around here...I cannot believe this!!!!
I had a month off in February and I never got off the couch. The very thought of getting on an airplane made me have to go lie down on the couch again.
You know, I've learned a lot on this site about my own business, (See the thread about taking showers at airports...that just slayed me...), but this one is blowing my mind! No disrespect intended, really, you're all great. But this concept is really stange to me and I hope you all understand that I have never even thought people would actually do that! I'm sorry, I think I have to go lie down on the couch...I'm getting dizzy!
No, seriously, I really didn't know! Thanks for the information, it's just really a foreign concept.
With Respect,
(And Bewilderment),

As the old saying goes,
"You ain't seen nothing yet"
For AA alone, if you look back to September, you'll find a whole crowd of people flying to TPE for an overnight stay and then turning right around.
For the more dedicated crowd, we have an entire forum/board dedicated to the idea of mileage runs, where we help each other make up ludicrously ridiculous itinieraries and seek out hideously cheap fares.
I've personnaly flown from Boston to Tokyo and turned around at the airport and got right back on a plane. 38 hours non-stop, of which 33 was on a plane. Left the house early Saturday morning, got back Sunday night, and went to work on Monday.
