As nsx alludes to, Southwest has already indicated that a massive overhaul of the Rapid Rewards program is coming, and I would expect there might be more tiers and possibly other changes ... given that, now would be a good time to make your feelings known to Southwest, so I'd certainly suggest sending them a nice letter with your comments!
