I too had the Citibank scam pulled on me.
And the fact that this has been happening to numerous card holders systemwide is unacceptable.I am planning to call the Citibank Executive offices through a source of mine who has contact with the higher ups.I also plan to close my account and tear up the card because the entire thing just smacks of fraud.It was interesting to note how everyone played dumb on the phone like theres no problem with earning only 2 points per dollar when we all clearly signed up for 6 points per dollars on HH spending
I can live with the mistake however the ******* of saying they first have to open a case and investigate for a month/weeks

I've had a recent problem with them.
I only use my Citi/Hilton card at Hiltons.
A recent statement showed a fradulant charge for several hundred dollars for a foreign transaction.
I reported it to Citi and they reversed the charge and the exchange fee.
But they left a hanging balance of 1.58 -- even though the card had been paid off the previous time around.
Then they charged me a late payment fee.
A phone call back to them resulted in getting bounced around 4 times to difference customer 'service' reps.
Bottom line -- I've stopped using the card and have to decide whether it's worth keeping/using.
Any thoughts?
