The same thing happened to me. This was on DFW-HNL in F. We are convinced that it was the ice cream (almost a classic source of food poisoning). My partner and I ate an identical meal. He was fine, I was really bad. Thankfully, the Doc had given me some instant cement for use in Africa and all was well.

My question is, if (please God no) we had a repeat - to whom does on report such things. I never did anything, as I simply did not know who I should contact. My thoughts were purely philanthropic, as American may well not know that there was a problem with the caterers and others could avoid having what happened to me.

Could anyone advise me? You say the Health Authorities? Who are they? The city, the state, or the airline?

Any advice gratefully received.
