I flew from ORD to NRT, business class, on AA. There were several empty seats in business class with the unused amenity kits in their cubbyholes. I was toward the back in business class, and was the last (business class) passenger to deplane before the economy class passengers. As we were standing, waiting for the line to move, I noticed the (economy class) passenger behind me take one of the unused amenity kits. I looked at her and at the kit, but said nothing. She hid it behind some other things that she was carrying. I looked at her again, right in the eye, but still said nothing.

Later it began to annoy me, and I wish I had said something to her. On one hand, it seems like such a small thing (which is why I hesitated to say anything) but on the other, it is part (even if a tiny part!) of what I (and others) are paying for business class- not a "freebie" for anyone walking by, just because it is there.

Just wondering what others would have done/said. Or, if you even taken one yourself (when it was not part of your ticket price).
