Problems with Icelandair online booking

Two nights ago, I booked two tickets directly from Icelandair's site. After I skimmed and printed the confirmation screen to make sure names and dates were correct, I called it a night because it was already quite late. The next day, I was reading the confirmation in more detail when I realized that I was still to receive the e-tickets via email. Since I hadn't received anything, I checked my e-ticket status on their site. I was shocked to find that my booking number and booking details (email address and last 6 digits of credit card used) were "invalid". I quickly called Icelandair, quoted my booking number and was told that the e-tickets had not yet been issued. After looking into it, the rep told me that the tickets had just been issued and to check the site a few minutes later for confirmation. Half an hour later, I checked and found the same "invalid" errors. I called back the rep and was told there was nothing else that could be done since it was already 11pm local time and all the ticketing officers had gone home. And since it's the Easter weekend and she will not be in on Saturday, nothing can be done until Monday!!! I've been checking my credit card balance, and to date, no charge has been posted.

Is this a normal occurrence with Icelandair? I hope this will not set the tone for things to come...

P. S. Since then, I've had other problems with the Icelandair site. I've tried to register for their frequent flyer program but keep on getting the "invalid" error for my address.
