If that is the case, then you probably wont need to split the actual PNR record into 2. The local EK office should be able to handle this. You'll need to fill out the upgrade sponsorship form and just be clear about which segments you want upgraded. You will most likely need 2 forms (one for each account holder where the miles are coming from).

A good ticket agent should be able to do this.
