Hi, just a follow up on your question regarding Singapore pricing for cameras.

We have a freesheet newspaper in Singapore called Today. It's similar to the Metro newspaper that can be found in lots of cities. Lately Harvey Norman, also a company called Audio House have been advertising in it. Audio House often has good prices; it didn't come to mind mainly because their customer base is pretty local and the shops are in the local residential areas.

BangkokTraveler suggested you compare against US pricing. I'd check out the on line prices for Best Buy and J and R Music World (www.jr.com). Now you'll know whether or not you're getting a good price!
