Many thanks for the suggestion. I thought about it and discarded it outright at first, but on second thought, I will strongly consider that as my fallback option. By the time I get my suitcase, around 11.20-11.30am, it will be 4 hours from the check-in cutoff time for my return flight, so that may work.
