"Actually, the members who received the extra Platinum Medallion Choice Benefits selection were part of the group that were requalifying Platinum Medallion members from the previous year. Meaning, they did not get a Platinum Medallion credentials package during 2009. It looks like you received a Platinum Medallion credentials package in 2009, as a new Platinum member (with Platinum Medallion Upgrade Certificates - which this targeted group did not receive) and then you went on to receive the Diamond Medallion credentials package in March 2010 with Choice Benefit selections."

As the instigator of the poll and this movement, I now declare this poll CLOSED, we have achieved our objective and Delta has gone on record with the correction. Congrats to those that believed in this mini movement and stuck with it, and supported this. It's great to know that the spirit of SSM lives on!! I would also like to thank Delta for correcting this matter, while it would have been great had it been fixed sooner, or in fact had there never been a problem at all, credit has to be given to Jeff and his managers in righting this wrong, whatever the circumstances may have been (I am not getting into the debate as to whether it was IT, misunderstandings, or whatever) ultimately the promise was kept and Delta has made a smart move in keeping its best customers happy. Thank you.
I do not think DL has fixed it for all. They have fixed it for a minority, but left the others who more than qualified in 2010 hanging. It is OK, I can leave as fast as I came here, if I do not like it.
