while I wouldn't condone any of the obnoxious behaviour I think the rule about phones after landing is stupid - the usual explanation given for the ban is that the phone will interfere with the navigation equipment - surely the driver doesn't need his navigation equipment to get to the stand?
And is it not the case that some airlines allow the use of mobiles after landing?
