The OP said the bed was messed up and soap used, so here's a scenario:
Airline loses your luggage (happened the last two times I was on WN, the only airline where I check luggage); as one who doesn't leave a laptop in the room when I have meetings/conferences/speeches, there are no physical possessions of yours in the room. Still OK to give your paid room away before you return from evening events?
